FAQ

  • I'm fairly new to gardening but I have some knowledge about what I want to grow. Where do I start?
We have all clients start with an Initial Consultation and Site Visit. We will gather information about your site, your plants, you the gardener, the level of involvement you want in your garden, and the resources you have available (time, space, budget, energy, and any limitations) to help bring your vision into reality. **Please note: for safety reasons, we must be able to access your garden area from the outside of the residence at all times, and are unable to enter homes to access your garden. We offer video meetings for all clients as an alternative to in-person site visits.**
  • I just moved into a new place and I think I want to have a garden, but I'm not sure what I want to grow."
Of course you want to garden! That's why you're here! We would love to help design a garden that won't intimidate you or your landlord, if you are gardening in a rental. If you're limited on time, space or ideas, let us help you open the gate to a beautiful gardening experience that is the right size for your space and lifestyle. **Please note: for safety reasons, we must be able to access your garden area from the outside of the residence at all times, and are unable to enter homes to access your garden. We offer video meetings for all clients as an alternative to in-person site visits.**
  • I have no idea what I'm doing in the garden. I have a black thumb, but I want to learn how not to kill my plants. Is there hope for me?"
Repeat after us: Gardening is for everyone. You can do this! We want you to be successful, for your sake and for the plants. Like any accomplished athlete, experienced gardeners do not happen overnight. You need a coach. You need to train, to make mistakes, to make corrections, to practice until it becomes muscle memory. After booking your Initial Consultation and Site Visit, grab a membership for ongoing garden coaching sessions. You don't have to feel alone in the process. If you have a large garden with equally sized goals and dreams, you may be a garden marathoner rather than a sprinter. Each have their strengths, so let's play to yours. Are you ready to take the first step of your garden training plan? **Please note: for safety reasons, we must be able to access your garden area from the outside of the residence at all times, and are unable to enter homes to access your garden. • I don't have time or a vehicle to get everything to my garden when I need it. How am I supposed to implement all the cool plants and designs you tell me about?
While we don't offer hands-on landscaping or garden maintenance services at this time, we do offer personal shopping and delivery of some products to your home to maximize your time in the garden. Need a bag of compost or mulch before you put those tomato starts in the ground? No problem! We shop regularly for clients and aim for a 48-hour turnaround, pending product availability.
